The front wall of the SketchUp model was pulled, whilst holding the alt key, to create wall and insulation layers of the correct thicknesses.

The SketchUp model was then cross sectioned and the section plane rotated to 45°, the model was then rendered with the Twilight plugin.

Materials, lights, people and snow were added in Photoshop.
